
Accessing applications from a kiosk, hotel, internet café, or other secured environment
Symptoms
The computer that you are logging in
from does not have the client installed, there will be a message
prompting you to install the Citrix ICA Client, however, you are
unable to do so.
Cause
It is likely that the systems
administrator disabled the ability to install software on a unit
located at a kiosk, hotel, internet café, or other secured
environment.
Resolution
Change to the Java Client:
- Click on the icon that looks
similar to a toolbox on the Applications title bar
(see picture below).
- Under ICA Client Deployment
Preferences change the embedded client to the Java Client.
- Try launching the application
again.

You will not be able to print or check out
documents.
